Vital Energy in a Blender

Green Smoothies, easy to make and packed full of nutrients, antioxidants, and vital energy! It’s a 4 minute powerhouse that will feed your body and infuse you with the vital energy contained in fresh raw fruits and vegetables. To get the most nutritional and antioxidant benefit, a green smoothie should be consumed within hours of blending, so I’m not talking about the ones you buy at Trader Joe’s or Whole Foods, much less any other food chain out there selling pre-made, processed fruit drinks.

Basic Green Smoothie

  • 1 cup of Almond Milk
  • 1 handful of Spinach
  • 1/2 Banana
  • 1/2 Apple, coarsely cubed
  • 6-7 Grapes
  • 2-3 Ice Cubes

Blend the Almond Milk and Spinach until liquified. Add the fruit and ice, blend until smooth and creamy.

Once you get the basic down, experiment! Try Soy milk, Coconut Water, Rice Milk or plain Water. Trade the Spinach for Kale, Chard, Dandelion or any other green leafy vegetable. Add Strawberries, Figs, Mangos, Papaya, Kiwi. If you want to include a protein, add yogurt, Peanut Butter or protein powder….for flavor boosters add Coconut Flakes, Cocao powder, Nutmeg or Vanilla powder

Its real Food…no added sugars, no artificial flavors, no artificial colors, no preservatives, no shelf life, no packaging, no UPC codes…Your body will thank you!
